Ellen Donnelly is an architectural designer and researcher currently living and working in Los Angeles. Ellen received her Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Design-Research from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Design and Architectural Studies from New York University. 

She is a founding partner of Field Day, a research and design practice that explores situationally driven urbanisms that upend traditional notions of property ownership. Ellen has co-curated exhibitions at UCLA’s Hammer Museum and at the Milan Expo 2015. She has taught design studio, architectural theory, construction, and drawing courses at the University of Michigan and Pasadena City College.
